**Mother Earth Mother Board**

This reading wouldn’t make sense for me if I don’t have a written note or map to go with it: (sadly some of the content is written in Chinese)

I went through the 2025 submarine cable map from TeleGeography’s, and pinned the countries visited in this article, and where I’m right now, versus my home country Taiwan. Not sure if I should feel relieved or not see all these cables passing through Taiwan. I guess this is my problem right now, how should I interpret the fact that a lot of cable passing through the same location? Does it means it’s safe from conflict? or does it means it’s important geographically speaking, and is a place with high risk?
