Idea 1 “Heater” (subject: technology energy use) super inefficient technology toy/tool, the inefficiency is transmitted into a concerning heat during the “playing”. Can be an overheating potentiometer/resistor/motor.
“Heater” is a small electronics circuit, with a button on one side, and a heat emitting electronics component on the other side. When the button is pressed, it heat up the components because of overcurrent. The longer you pressed it the hotter, until you have to let go, because it’s too hot.
Idea 2 “kind-a Taiwanese?” (or any other nationality that we can kind-a mimic) (subject: accessibility) (no playful/relief here) A small doll with speaker, that can talk in a language that is kind-a Taiwanese. The audio coming out is by an audio-based AI that is trained by the recordings that we recorded, that sounds kinda like a certain language but it’s actually not. (It’s basically a chin chung chong joke)
Idea 3 “Egg Cooker/Candle”
(subject: technology energy use)
I want to deal with the transaction of energy, and the waste within. So the idea for this device is like this:
Fire—>it somehow provides energy to generate electricity—> this energy is then transmitted into heat, for cooking an egg. Which can be cooked by the fire in the first place.
